Thanks George!

The Macro/Flower photography class led by George finished a couple of weeks ago. As you might notice we haven't posted in a while. I think it would be fair to say I've been busier than a one legged man in a butt-kicking contest. A lot has been going on but I wanted to fill everyone in on the end of George's class.

We spent Wednesday and Thursday about an hour east of the school shooting wildflowers at Shell Creek. The early morning shooting was excellent as we caught great morning light, dew, and huge numbers of flowers. We travelled even earlier Thursday morning and were rewarded with some incredible frost on the flowers.

Having shot gigabytes worth of images, most of the afternoons and evenings were spent editing and optimizing. We, of course, also did a huge amount of printing. Some course participants even printed images up to 42" x 90". All in all, I think we generated over 400 prints during the week. Not bad considering we spent so much time out in the field.

Thanks again to George for another great week. The next course George is instructing will be led from his home in Colorado Springs. If you are interested in additional courses in Colorado let us know.

Take care and thanks for reading.

Hal
